Being extremely fine, merino fibres bend far more than traditional, coarser wool fibres making garments feel soft and luxuriously gentle next to your skin.

The finest sheep wool

Merino wool is the finest and softest sheep’s wool in the world, 1/3rd the diameter of human hair and can be softer than cashmere.

Fine yarn comfort

The finer the yarn micron, the softer the fibre. The feeling of prickle and itch comes from fibres with coarse microns of any type of fibre.

Itch free

Merino fibres are flexible and bend with your body, their scales are very small, and its naturally lanolin-free, thereby less likely to irritate your skin.

Naturally elastic

Natural elasticity helps Merino wool garments stretch with you, yet return to their original shape.

Naturally breathable

Merino wool is one of the most breathable fibres, absorbing large quantities of moisture and moving it away to evaporate into the air.

Inherent insulation

Wool’s 3D crimp traps air, insulating your skin, maintaining a drier microclimate next to your skin, and keeping the wearer warm and dry.

Nature’s performance fabric

Extremely wrinkle resistant

Without chemical treatments of any kind, at a microscopic level, each Merino wool fibre is like a coiled spring that returns to its natural shape after being bent giving a natural resistance to wrinkles.

Odour resistant

Wool’s complex chemical structure enables it to absorb and lock away odours within the fibre, only releasing them upon washing.

Stain resistant

Merino wool fibres have a natural protective outer layer that helps prevent stains from being absorbed. And because Merino wool tends not to generate static, it attracts less dust and lint.

Warm and dry

The chemical structure of wool allows it to transfer up to a third of its own weight in moisture vapour, at high humidity, without feeling wet (hygroscopic).

Naturally thermoregulating

When it’s hot and dry, wool fabrics can feel up to two times cooler to touch than synthetic fabrics because wool conducts more heat away from your skin and transfers 25% more moisture away from your skin than polyester fabrics, equivalent to an ambient temperature drop of up to four degrees Celsius.
